The Instructor: Sidonia McIntyre, RMT, CEMT, CCF.

Sidonia is a board certified (human) registered massage therapist with 2200 hours of training and has been working with soft tissue for over 34 years.  24 years ago, she took an introductory to massage course taught by a fellow RMT, and then she was off to the races!  Through years of work, Sidonia transposed multiple massage techniques and treatments from human to the horse. The greatest teachers have been the horses.  We can learn so very much from them if we but listen and respond to their needs.  The act of an animal of prey to show a natural predator their areas of pain is an amazing, humbling experience.  Every. Single. Time. This happens.  Come and share this experience!

She holds a Diploma with Distinction from the University of Guelph in Equine Health Sciences, She has her EAGALA level II Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Training, She is also a certified coach practitioner through the Certified Coaches Federation. When she is not traveling, she resides (for 6 months of the year) in Cottam, Ontario with her amazing husband, her band of 5 horses, their Kengal “Koda”, his Kitty (Pheral), the wild turkeys, migratory birds that come to the feeders and any other critters that like to visit.
